Boxer Spotlight - Moose
Meet Moose - this handsome fella came into ABR when he was passed over while waiting at animal control to be reclaimed. Of course his owners never came, and because he was heartworm positive nobody wanted him - except us!
Moose has settled into his foster home nicely, he has a fur buddy to hang out with, he really enjoys the company of other dogs and people and is always excited to see him foster mom and dad come home from work. Moose knows how to sit, shake and high five - not too shabby at all!
Moose will be starting his heartworm treatment soon so will not be available immediately for adoption...but please if you would like to make a donation towards the cost of his treatment, donate here.
Boxerstock 2009
The second-annual Boxerstock is coming up soon and you won't want to miss it! Boxerstock is a full day of music, food and fun for the entire family benefitting Atlanta Boxer Rescue. Boxerstock will be held on Saturday, September 19 from 12 pm until 10 pm at Dogma Dogcare in Smyrna. Tickets are only $10 for the entire day. Some of Atlanta’s finest musicians are on the bill, playing music of all kinds, so there’s something for everyone. Local restaurants will be on hand with food and drinks. There’s fun for the whole family with fun activities for kids, dog events, a silent auction and much more. Come with or without your dog, but don't miss out on this great day!
Boxerstock T-shirts
Back by popular demand are the Boxerstock tie dyed t-shirts! This year, we've also got them with long sleeves so you can wear your shirts year round! We are taking pre-orders for them between now and September 7th, so if you want one, be sure to get your order in now. Because of printing costs, there will be very few extras available at the event, so don't take a chance if you want one in your size. They feature the Boxerstock logo on the front and the names of all the musicians on the back. A great souvenir!
